Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This policy explains how Arokin Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Who we are
Arokin Pty Ltd, ABN 34 665 813 098, NSW Master Licence 000110748. You can reach us at operations@arokin.group or on 1800 838 276.
What we collect
If you apply for work with us
Our careers application form collects:
- your name, date of birth, email address and mobile number;
- your residential address, suburb, state and postcode;
- the name and contact number of your emergency contact;
- your gender and uniform sizes, so we can issue the right kit;
- the kind of work you are applying for, and whether you work in licensed venues;
- the numbers and expiry dates of your security licence, First Aid certificate and RSA, where you provide them; and
- copies of those documents, where you attach them.
You provide your emergency contact's details to us. Please make sure that person knows you have given us their name and number.
If you contact us
We collect whatever you choose to include when you email or call us, along with your contact details so we can respond. If you use an enquiry form on this site, we collect the details the form asks for - your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, business name and message - and store them in the same customer relationship management platform described below so we can respond to and manage your enquiry.
Automatically
Our servers record your IP address when you submit the application form. We use it only to limit how many submissions can come from one connection in an hour, which protects the form from automated abuse. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
To assess your application, to confirm you hold the licences and certificates the role requires, to contact you about your application, and - if you join us - to roster, equip and manage your engagement. We also keep records we are required to keep as a licensed security operator in New South Wales.
Providing this information is voluntary, but we cannot assess an application without it, and we cannot place you on a licensed shift without evidence of a current licence.
How we store it, and where
Applications are stored in a third-party customer relationship management platform that we use to manage applicants and crew. That platform stores data on servers located in the United States, so by submitting an application you consent to your information being disclosed overseas. Documents you attach are stored against your record in that same platform. Transfers between your browser and our servers are encrypted.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Access to applicant records is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- service providers who host or support our systems, under confidentiality obligations;
- a client site or venue, where you are deployed there and they require the crew details their own licence conditions oblige them to hold; and
- regulators, insurers or law enforcement where we are required or authorised by law to do so.
How long we keep it
If your application is unsuccessful, we keep it for up to two years so we can consider you for later work, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you join us, your records are kept for as long as we are required to keep employment and licensing records, and then destroyed or de-identified.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your application. Email operations@arokin.group. We will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first, and there are limited circumstances where we may decline - if so, we will tell you why.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us at operations@arokin.group and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The current version always appears on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
